Great news...... the 2011 Perth Volleyball League is close to starting !!
The UWA Volleyball Club will be holding their annual try-outs in few weeks for this upcoming PVL season (comp starts Sunday 1st of May). If you're interested in playing volleyball for UWA Volleyball Club this year, please come along and bring any one that may be interested. UWA is a fun and friendly club and welcomes players of all ability levels and ages. Note that even though the club is run through the University of Western Australia, it is not a requirement that you are a student at this University. All players and juniors welcome :-)
Following tryouts you will be graded, and training times will follow shortly after.
If you can't get to the Try-outs, make sure James or Cait are aware of your interest. If you're injured, still come along and register.
We need coaches.....so if you are considering coaching please advise James or Caitlin. To kick things off for 2011, come to our first social event of the year! As the beach season is finishing we thought we would play some beach volleyball, relax on the beach, have a picnic and finish the evening off with a sundowner at the CBH. Friends and family are welcome. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

Try-outs are tentatively booked for Sat 12th March at UWA Rec Centre in the afternoon. Check back closer to the date. After try-outs, you will be graded into teams and training times arranged.
PVL season starts in early May.
In the meantime, come down to out social drop-in sessions at 8pm on Monday nights at UWA Rec Centre. A couple of hours of vb for $5. It's a good way to meet other club members.
